Andrew Calder as "Man"

Andrew Calder was born in a tiny little womb in the mountains north of northern Vermont. He spent a lot of time alone as a little boy and when not alone, he asked a lot of questions. Summers were spent scavenging the beaches of Nova Scotia. Here, he learned to sail and paint and draw. His first kiss was at fifteen at the end of a wharf on a windy night - this experience has forever wounded him in love. Winters were spent skiing some of the world's great mountains. He built his first house at seventeen; wandered all over Europe and eventually ended up at Harvard. He spent a winter alone in a cabin with a parrot. He raced the Baja 1000 in Mexico, twice. After falling in love eight times, he "saw what was". Eventually, he awoke to another way of living. This he liked very much.

Currently, Andrew spends much of his time writing poetry and creating stories he feels will one day touch and inspire people everywhere.

Oona Mekas as "Janet"

Born and raised in New York City, Oona has talked about making films all her life. Her mother tells the story of how, when she was 8 years old, she declared, "I want to make REAL films!" Oona has spent the last seven years living in both New York and Los Angeles acting. She has been in many theater productions on both coasts, and worked on countless independent films. She is a long-standing board member of Anthology Film Archives, a theater and archive dedicated to the preservation and screening of cinema in all forms. She has been active in the film community since 1993, reaching audiences through the Anthology Film Archives as a film programmer and by curating film programs abroad.

Currently a resident of downtown Los Angeles, Oona also teaches Integral Yoga and stress-reduction techniques through her studio, Satva Yoga.

Kristen Day White as "Jamie"

Kristen Day White has been acting and auditioning since the age of five. She was born in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and currently lives in Culver City, LA. She is presently making her mark in 2nd grade at her local grade school and has attended the John Robert Powers School for Entertainment Studies and Education. When not acting, Kristen enjoys modeling. But the entertainment industry is only a means to an end for Kristen, as she is saving up to pay for veterinary school so she can become a large animal doctor. Requests for autographs and questions can be sent to her agent at Coast to Coast Youth, as this seven-year old is quickly climbing the ranks of Hollywood. Watch out!

Fionn James as "Alex"

Fionn James has been acting since he was three years old. He has acted in commercials, films, theater and musical comedy. Most recently, Fionn performed in "The Grapes of Wrath," produced by the National American Shakespeare Company. He can be seen on HBO this fall in Will Ferrell's "Funny or Die" series. Fionn is also a musician and singer. In his free time, he loves to play at the beach and he is an excellent Nerf™ Watergun sharpshooter.

It's located in Ventura County right off the Pacific Coast Highway near Deer Creek Road. Try out Neptune's Net if you get a chance to go...it's a definite catch!

Pollution Studios has come on board as our Co-Production Company for "Kelp." We are very excited to work with them. We will be shooting our underwater sequence on one of their giant sound stages. Pollution's Alex Asher Brown has come on as Co-Producer and Ben Spiegelman has offered his services as Production Designer.
